EMIXI is a device designed by HORENTEK® for detecting otoacoustic emissions, featuring a highly sensitive microphone that records sounds within the ear canal. These sounds are produced by the energy generated in the cochlea.

EMIXI is portable, ergonomically designed, and reliable. Additionally, it is user-friendly and capable of performing rapid screening tests. The outcomes of these tests are easily assessed using a smart keypad, a bright color display, and a storage capacity for 280 tests.

The device comes with multiple pre-set test protocols, including specific TEOAE and DPOAE screening (pass or refer) or clinical protocols; thus, professionals can create and customize their own protocols via the Arka software platform (iLink).

Furthermore, EMIXI can be equipped with an optional AABR module for a comprehensive screening solution. The Automatic Auditory Brainstem Response (AABR) is measured using surface electrodes and a modern pre-amplifier specifically designed to eliminate measurement noise. The potential triggered by clicks is produced through earphones or headphones. The EMIXI AABR module is accurate and reliable due to its automatic control for artifacts and electrode impedance.
