HEKTO is an audiometer developed by HORENTEK®. It features a dual-channel, computer-based design optimized for the most precise audibility acuity evaluation. Despite its lightweight and portable nature, HEKTO has a robust design and offers a user-friendly software interface provided by Arka. HORENTEK® offers this audiometer in three different models, each equipped with specialized features: Screening, Diagnostic, or Tinnitus.

The HEKTO Screening model includes air conduction tests that assess a limited range of pure tones, free field tests, and automated Hughson-Westlake tests. These features are designed for quick and basic hearing screenings.

The HEKTO Diagnostic model includes bone conduction evaluation of a limited range of pure tones, cognitive tests, and has internal memory for speech materials, customizable word lists, and pediatric applications. This model is suitable for more comprehensive audiological assessments.

The HEKTO Tinnitus model is a clinical tool featuring tests such as ABLB, SISI, tone decay, Bekesy audiometry, and high-frequency audiometry, aimed specifically at tinnitus evaluation. The tinnitus assessment is a diagnostic protocol that identifies the persistent discomfort reported by patients concerning the frequency and intensity of sounds, and helps in determining the best dynamic masking strategies for customized treatment.
